1 & 2. The Deal & The Chase
The Deal is the first book in Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus series. It follows Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham (hello book boyfriend!). It’s got fake dating, hockey, playboy turned cinnamon roll, etc. After finishing the Off-Campus series, I immediately dove into her spin-off series Briar U. The first book, The Chase, follows Dean DiLaurentis’s baby sister, Summer. And let me tell ya.. she’s hilarious. She has no filter, talks to herself (out loud), and refers to her spirit animal, Selena Gomez, for advice. Oh and I cant forget to mention Colin Fitzgerald, aka Fitz! Summer’s love interest in this book and he’s a tatted. Swoon.
3. The Spanish Love Deception
Have you seen the movie The Wedding Date with Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney (who I totally had a crush on btw)? Well this is exactly like the movie but in book form! I will admit, the beginning of the book seemed a little too similar to the movie but towards the middle/end there are some major differences (it even mentions the movie in the book).
4. The Twisted Series
I couldn’t just name one book in this series of four because they were all SO GOOD. These books are definitely spicier than the ones above and you won't be disappointed. Each book also have tropes - enemies to lovers, brothers best friend, forbidden romance, royalty, one bed, the list goes on!
5. Shattered
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC (advanced reading copy) from the author and it's rare that I enjoy ARC's as much as I enjoyed this one. You know the books you read and you forget that you are reading it? This was that for me! It follows Samantha Williams, an orphan who is on a ridiculously strict scholarship and has her life planned out. She'd graduate top of her class, begin med school, and become a doctor. Nothing was going to stand in her way... until a very sexy but also very annoying guy becomes her new coworker. Just his presence threatens to shatter every single plan she perfectly crafted for herself.
